Designed specifically for single-phase functionality within three-phase line systems, this switch stands out due to its straightforward structure, affordability, and user-friendly nature. Available in rated currents of 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, it comprises a foundational base, durable post insulators, robust conductive elements, and a precise mechanical section. Its gate knife structure ensures efficient circuit operation, with each phase featuring dual conductive blades and external compression springs on both sides. Fine-tune the spring height to achieve the perfect contact pressure for the switch’s gate knife. Operated with an insulated hook stick for optimal safety during opening and closing actions, it also boasts a self-locking device for added security.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation Work

1. Thoroughly clean all parts, removing dust and dirt, and carefully polish the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle to ensure pristine condition.
2. Meticulously scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw for optimal conductivity.
3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to rotating parts and contact areas to enhance smooth operation and prevent wear.
4. Inspect the contact surface and adjust the compression spring height so that the contact pressure aligns with specifications detailed in Table II.
5. Specifically designed for hoisting use, this switch is intended to be used in tandem with transformers on the line to ensure seamless integration.
6. With a rated current ranging from 200-400 ampere hours, this switch typically requires three mounting holes for installation. For 600-1000A, three mounting holes remain the standard.

Annual Maintenance Checklist:
Diligently remove any accumulated dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottles to maintain peak performance.

Conduct a full inspection for damage across all components, with extra focus on the insulating porcelain bottle for any signs of harm or cracks.

Verify the quality of the contact surface of the conductive parts to ensure consistent performance.
