Product Description

(H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch, renowned in the industry as an isolation disconnect switch, is masterfully engineered for deployment on 10(12, 15, 24)kV high voltage power transmission and distribution lines. It is designed to seamlessly open and close single-phase or three-phase circuits without any load but with voltage present, ensuring unparalleled efficiency and reliability in power management.

This versatile switch is crafted for single-phase use within three-phase line systems, boasting a straightforward yet highly effective structure, remarkable cost-efficiency, and user-friendly operation. Available in rated currents of 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amps, these switches are composed of a robust base, durable post insulators, conductive elements, and a mechanical section. The ingenious gate knife design facilitates efficient circuit opening and closing, with each phase's gate knife featuring two conductive blades and external compression springs for optimal performance. By adjusting the spring height, the required contact pressure for the switch's gate knife is achieved, ensuring a secure and reliable operation. The switch is operated with an insulated hook stick for ease of opening and closing, and incorporates a self-locking device for added safety.

Working Environment:

Altitude not exceeding 1000 meters; ideal for versatile geographical locations.

Ambient temperature: maximum not above +40°C; minimum not below -30°C, ensuring adaptability to various climates.

Outdoor wind speed not exceeding 35 meters/second, providing resilience against strong winds.

Seismic intensity not exceeding 8 degrees; the installation site should maintain stability without frequent severe vibrations.

The installation site must be free from gases, chemical deposits, salt mist, dust, dirt, or other harmful explosive or corrosive mediums that could seriously compromise the switch's insulation and conductivity.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Thoroughly remove dust and dirt from all parts, ensuring a pristine surface on the insulating porcelain bottle for optimal performance.
  2. Meticulously scrub the wiring surface of the ground screw, ensuring reliable electrical connectivity.
  3. Apply a protective layer of industrial Vaseline to the rotating parts and contact areas, enhancing longevity and operational smoothness.
  4. Inspect the contact surface meticulously and adjust the compression spring height to ensure the contact pressure aligns with Table II, guaranteeing reliable operation.
  5. This switch is exclusively designed for hoisting applications and is intended to be used in conjunction with transformers on the line, ensuring robust and efficient power distribution.
  6. The rated current of this switch spans 200-400 ampere hours, typically employing three mounting holes, while the 600-1000A variants also utilize three mounting holes for secure installation.

Perform a comprehensive annual check of the following switch components:
Efficiently remove dirt from conductive parts, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle surfaces to maintain optimal performance.

Inspect all components for any signs of damage, with particular attention to the insulating porcelain bottle, ensuring it is free from damage and cracks.

Assess whether the contact surface of the conductive part remains in good condition, ensuring continued reliable operation.
