Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

1. Enhance performance by thoroughly removing dust and dirt from all components. Meticulously clean the insulating porcelain bottle's surface to preserve its integrity.
2. Meticulously scrub the ground screw's wiring surface to ensure flawless electrical contact.
3. For seamless operation, apply a protective coat of industrial Vaseline to all rotating and contact areas.
4. Diligently inspect the contact surface. Adjust the compression spring height to maintain contact pressure as outlined in Table II.
5. This switch is meticulously engineered for hoisting applications and is designed to function in perfect harmony with transformers along the line.
6. The switch accommodates a rated current of 200-400 ampere hours with three mounting holes, while 600-1000A configurations also utilize three holes for optimal stability.

Ensure prolonged functionality by conducting comprehensive annual inspections of the following components:
Carefully eliminate any dirt from conductive elements, contact surfaces, and the insulating porcelain bottle's exterior to maintain optimal performance.

Examine all components for potential damage, focusing on the insulating porcelain bottle for any damage or cracks.

Verify that the conductive part's contact surface remains in excellent condition to guarantee efficient operation.
